  • Representation of Colombian-based company with reputation as leading manufacturer and seller of high-quality luxury garments, and waist cinchers in action involving former employee and multiple parties for breach of fiduciary duty, conspiracy, fraud, conversion, and tortious interference with business relationship. Negotiated and secured $350,000 final judgment against former employee; formulated winning argument and secured $318,500 final judgment against co-conspirator for concealment and spoliation of evidence

 

  • Representation of clients, assigns, and agents in matters involving collection on bad debt and credit obligations
     

  • Representation of client and presented argument before District Court regarding client’s entitlement to cash seized by U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration and obtained Order directing government to release funds to client

  • Representation of engine refurbishing company in matters involving breach of contract, fraud and related claims, property rights, possessory interests, and injunctive relief

  • Representation of residential real estate developer in multiple litigation matters involving 200-unit unfinished construction project

  • Representation of individual investor in action against broker who solicited and promoted investment opportunities in purported wholesale grocery distribution business through misrepresentations and omissions in offering documents. That investment opportunity was later discovered to be a massive Ponzi scheme perpetuated by Nevin Shapiro and Capitol Investments USA, Inc. that bilked investors of more than $900 million. Successfully identified misreading of evidence regarding property rights, possessory interests, and claimed exemptions, permitting client to pursue enforcement of $8.5 million judgment and levy on personal property

 

  • Representation of principal in matter involving enforcement of $1.5 million personal guaranty of loan to computer equipment company. Successfully identified misreading of evidence regarding credit insurance coverage and potential insurance fraud claims, securing dismissal of action with prejudice
